Graesyn and Kylie's Family Holiday at Waiheke!

The offer of a break away by Holiday Helpers Waiheke Island was totally unexpected; the timing was perfect, allowing quiet time together relaxing as a family.  Kylie says she “was overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness of the HHN helpers”; they enjoyed a free ferry crossing, wonderful accommodation and meals during her stay; every detail was taken care of. The weather was also very kind allowing them to fully enjoy the local beaches and scenery.

“Graesyn walked on sand for the first time in his life – a totally new experience for him, the fresh air even helped him sleep better”. Kylie was especially touched by the team organising a free massage pamper session for her to enjoy while wee Graesyn was cared for by a professional nanny, and a wonderful dining out experience – her first real “time out” for over a year.

Both Kylie and Graesyn were able to return to home refreshed by this break, with many happy memories to treasure. The timing was perfect, helping them both to recharge and prepare to face his next planned surgery in October 2013 just before his second birthday.

Graesyn loved watching the Boats and chasing the ducks whilst on Waiheke. A huge thank you to Dan and the HHN Waiheke team for making this all possible.
