Holiday homes

The Foundation is committed to offering respite care to patient members / families affected by the pressures of ongoing health issues. We now have four respite homes that are available for use by our Patient members; these facilities are very precious to us and we are grateful to all of the Trusts , businesses and individuals that have helped us to fundraise to establish and maintain these for our members.

We now have four respite homes that are available for use by our Patient members; these facilities are very precious to us and we are grateful to all of the Trusts , businesses and individuals that have helped us to fundraise to establish and maintain these for our members. Locations are:

1. Mangawhai Heads (www.riversideholidaypark.co.nz)

2. Red Beach (www.pinewoods.co.nz)

3. Otaki Beach (www.byronsresort.co.nz)

4. Bannockburn (www.cromwell.org.nz/cairnmuir)

All bookings must be made through the IDFNZ office.

The homes are booked by patient members on a priority basis at the discretion of the Foundation.We ask that you complete the booking inquiry form at least one month in advance of a planned booking to allow time to process your request. Please Note: the Foundation has a series of policies and procedures pertaining to the holiday homes which must be adhered to.These are listed on the booking forms and by submitting your booking you are agreeing to abide by these rules. The accompanying policy for safe disposalof syringes used for IVIG/SCIG treatment whilst at the holiday homes is also applicable- our priority is for safety at all times.
