Beware Yellow 2020
28th June is Beware Yellow Day
One again we are on a mission to promoting the early signs of paediatric liver disease.
Did you know that the Foundation also prints and sends out
free resources to medical centres, Plunket nurses and Midwives across New
Zealand and as far away as Fiji, Tonga and Samoa.
Each year we invest in training and continuing medical education grants to support New Zealand nursing specialists, and sponsor seminars, conferences and talks promoting Beware Yellow amongst medical professionals working with young babies.
You too can help us to raise awareness using the free resources available directly from our website and printed posters available for ordering from our support office:
- Order free copies of Beware Yellow pamphlets and posters to hand out in your local community, we have copies in 5 different languages to get the message through
- Host a yellow cupcake morning tea for your “baby and mum” or playgroup
- Hold a “yellow Mufti day” at school or “yellow tie” day at work
- Like us on Facebook and send links to all your contacts of our warning signs information.
Thank you to our brave children and families who have shared their stories promoting awareness of Paediatric liver diseases.
